Language Arts:
*Students need to check out one mystery AR book when they go to the library today. Remember: the book must have a green dot. It must also be 4+ points and a 5th to 8th grade reading level. Any book that does not have these specifications will not be accepted.
Monday: TLW present suspenseful stories. *Suspenseful stories due!
Tuesday: TLW show master of comprehension of Adjectives (proper, demonstrative, possessive). *Adjectives TEST
Wednesday: TLW identify 10 suspenseful scenes.
Thursday: TLW create sentences using action verbs p. 314 (ex.1 and 2) in class
Friday: TLW recognize linking verbs. P. 317 (ex.3 and 4) in class

Monday: TLW present Egyptian Newspapers (Spanish)
Tuesday: TLW show master of comprehension of chapter 3 (Egypt)

Language Arts:
Monday: TLW create an element of suspense (narrative writing)-Begin suspenseful stories.
*Students need to check out one mystery AR book when they go to the library today. Remember: the book must have a green dot. It must also be 4+ points and a 5th to 8th grade reading level. Any book that does not have these specifications will not be accepted.
Tuesday: TLW recognize and supply adjectives and articles p. 330-331 ex. 1/2 and p. 333 ex. 3 (do not work ahead…extra work will be given-assignments are subj. to change)
Wednesday: TLW create proper adjectives/classify demonstrative pronouns and adjectives. P. 335 ex. 5 and p. 338 ex. 7 (do not do in advance or additional work will be given).
Wednesday: TLW recognize possessive adjectives. P. 337 ex. 6
Thursday: TLW review adjective skills listed above.
Friday: TLW show master of types of adjectives/vocab. cartoon quiz *Enriched: vocabulary cartoon is due!
*ALL Suspenseful Stories are due Monday, October 29th. They must be well written, neat, typed, and must include and illustration.
